Co-Founder & Owner
With over 15 years of experience as a small business owner, I bring a strong foundation in organization, systems management, and administrative operations.
As the founder of Simply Organized by Hart and Upscale Resale CT, I’ve developed and implemented processes that improve efficiency, streamline daily tasks, and support long-term personal and business goals.

I hold a B.A. in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut and have over three decades of experience managing logistics through both professional work and volunteer leadership roles.
With a calm demeanor, light humor, and a non-judgmental attitude, we help foster a positive, collaborative working environment.
Doug Hart

With over 35 years of experience, I help small business owners grow through personalized coaching, mentoring, and leadership development. My background spans operations, financial planning, and strategic growth across various industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, wholesale distribution, automotive, aerospace, printing, textiles, real estate, and private equity.

I have served as an Owner, COO, and Advisor to small and mid-sized businesses, with deep experience in improving processes, strengthening teams, and building financially sound organizations. I understand the unique challenges entrepreneurs face and offer practical, experience-driven guidance to help navigate change, seize opportunities, and lead with confidence.
