Meet Doug & Alicia Hart
Doug Hart is an experienced operator, advisor, and business leader with over 35 years of experience helping owner-led and lower middle market companies grow, scale, and create lasting value.
As a former Owner and COO, Doug has led and supported businesses typically ranging from $3M to $50M in revenue, organizations that are often at critical inflection points between entrepreneurial growth and more structured, scalable operations.
His experience includes working alongside private equity-backed companies from acquisition through exit, with a focus on operational improvement, leadership alignment, and value creation. He has worked across industries
including manufacturing, distribution, automotive, aerospace, medical, and real estate.
Through Beacon Business Advisors, Doug partners with business owners, leadership teams, and investors in roles that include fractional executive leadership, operational advisory, due diligence support, and post-acquisition execution.
He is passionate about working with business owners throughout Northeast Florida, where he lives and where Beacon is based, while also supporting clients and investors across broader geographies.

My background spans professional organizing, move management, administrative support, bookkeeping, productivity coaching, and business operations across a variety of industries and environments.
I have worked with homeowners, entrepreneurs, executives, and growing businesses to simplify processes, improve workflow, and create spaces and systems that support long-term success. I also have experience developing safety programs, writing company policies and handbooks, and managing day-to-day operations with clarity and structure.
